New Mexico Man Dies in Car Crash

BUENA PARK — A 7-year-old New Mexico man who apparently suffered a fatal heart attack while at the wheel of his van plowed into a group of cars Wednesday, causing minor injuries, police said.
The man and his wife, whose names were withheld, were driving west on Lincoln Avenue in their Ford Aerostar just after 3 p.m. when the accident occurred, Police Sgt. Richard Saak said. The man apparently suffered a heart attack and weaved across the lanes before ramming into two cars stopped at a red light at Holder Street.
