DOLPHINS

Most of us have visited marine parks and are so absolutely mesmerized by the performances and antics of these marine animals that not even for a fleeting moment do we consider their captive life. What’s there to consider with impeccably clean and beautiful grounds, cheerful employees and marvelous sea creatures performing anthropomorphic tricks! Unfortunately, behind it all is the cruel and relentless capturing of these animals and their confinement to small cubicles of concrete walls and bars.
I don’t exactly want to downplay marine parks--sometimes this is the closest most people get to these magnificent creatures--yet I believe they should attempt a different approach to the capture, care and display of the dolphins.
