Thomas Osano and Susan Sirma of Kenya gave their country a sweep in the 7.5-mile San Francisco Bay to Breakers.

Osano, 21, pulled away from Norway’s John Halvorsen with about 1 1/2 miles to go and finished in 33 minutes, 54.8 seconds. Sirma, 24, won easily in 38:26. Both set course records.
