Jacobs Wins Uranium Cleanup Contract: Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said it has won a five-year, $115-million contract from the federal government to continue its work on cleaning up inactive uranium mill tailings sites. Jacobs said the pact from the Energy Department calls for it to provide architect-engineer services for the uranium mill tailings remedial action project in 10 states, including Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.
