Recalling Nate Kaplan
Members of our organization in San Diego and L.A. were extremely touched by Rick Du Brow’s May 27 tribute to TV news writer Nate Kaplan, our late vice president.
His activity in helping create opportunities for the disabled in the entertainment industry was every bit as low key and high class as the rest of his life.
Dozens of disabled performers who are working today in TV, movies, stage and radio owe Nate Kaplan every bit as much as the newscasters he taught and for whom he wrote.
