Terminal Data Reports Quarterly Loss of $916,000

Terminal Data Corp. in Moorpark reported its net loss widened to $916,000 in the fiscal third quarter ended June 30, while revenues fell 17% to $4.9 million. The maker of document imaging machines had previously said it expected to report a loss for the quarter because of delays in procurement on a defense project and the continuing sluggish economy.
A year earlier, Terminal Data lost $269,000 on $5.93 million in revenues.
For the nine months ended June 30, Terminal Data reported a loss of $1.93 million, compared with a $1.79-million loss in the first three quarters of fiscal 1990. Revenues slipped 6% to $15.3 million from $16.2 million.
