Micro General Corp.: The Santa Ana manufacturer of automated shipping and mailing equipment reported second-quarter earnings of $23,265, or 0 cents a share, contrasted with a loss of $189,543, or 2 cents a share, for the comparable 1990 period. Revenue declined 17% to $1 million from $1.2 million. For the six-month period, earnings totaled $619,316, or 7 cents a share, compared to a loss of $137,560, or 1 cent a share, a year earlier. Revenue was $3.3 million, up from $2.6 million a year earlier. The company said the improved earnings for 1991 were primarily because of a U.S. Postal Service rate increase in the first quarter.
