Pair Seeking Money Fatally Stab Man, 40

A Woodland Hills man was fatally stabbed early Wednesday when he refused to give a pair of passing pedestrians money, Los Angeles police said.
Luis Alfonso Quezada, 40, was pronounced dead at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Woodland Hills shortly after the 2:20 a.m. attack, which remains under investigation, Detective Rick Swanston said.
Quezada had been drinking with two friends in the parking lot of the apartment building where he lives, in the 5500 block of Quakertown Avenue, when two men approached and asked for money. One stabbed Quezada several times in the chest when he refused, then fled on foot with his companion, Swanston said.
