Police are looking for a suspect in the hit-and-run death of a San Diego couple Sunday night.
John Edward Fleischer, 25, and Christine Marie Livoli, 23, of the 2000 block of Albatross Street, were killed when their car was hit by a 1969 Ford, said a medical examiner’s spokesman.
Fleischer was making a U-turn on Arnold Avenue about 8:40 p.m. when the Ford, which was traveling north at high speed, struck his vehicle. Fleischer was killed at the scene.
His passenger, Livoli, was taken to Mercy Hospital, where she died early Monday morning.
