Buena 28, Newbury Park 20--Sophomore running back George Keiaho rushed 23 times for 119 yards and four touchdowns to lead the visiting Bulldogs (2-1).

Keiaho scored three times in the second quarter on runs of one, one and three yards as Buena built a 21-7 halftime lead, and then added the clinching score on another one-yard run in the fourth quarter after Newbury Park (0-3) had cut the margin to 21-20 after three quarters.

Sophomore quarterback Keith Smith led the Panthers by scoring one touchdown and passing for another. In the game, Smith completed 14 of 32 passes for 229 yards but threw three interceptions.
