NBC Seeking Producers on Burbank Lot: NBC said it will launch a campaign to draw producers to its 44-acre Burbank production facility as a hedge against declining network profits. The network had been rumored to be selling the facility, which includes seven sound stages and about 75,000 square feet of studio space. John Agoglia, president of NBC Enterprises, said the facility, which has been operating at only 70% of capacity, will lease unused sound stages to outside producers. As part of a restructuring, all Burbank-based law, finance and personnel functions will report to Agoglia instead of their respective departments in New York.
