Future of the Democrats
After being a lifelong Democrat, I have to declare the party dead. The Democratic Party is nothing but fertilizer for the Republican Party. It is filled with Republican wanna-bes, wimps and a few “Don Quixotes” who have hearts in the right places but are only chasing windmills as long as they stay within a dead party.
I can’t in good conscience work for, vote for, or remain within a corpse. It’s time for a new party with a little courage to fight for the people, for education, health care, jobs, the environment, justice, equality and stand for real issues. I can only hope that the few remaining Democratic leaders who still have some conviction left will take the lead for our future and help create a new vehicle--a new party for the people.
