SCC Falls in District Soccer Playoffs

The Master’s College advanced to the second round of the NAIA District 3 men’s soccer playoffs with a 4-3, sudden-death victory over Southern California College Wednesday in Newhall.
Ezequiel Bongarra scored the winning goal for 12 minutes into overtime. Carlos Miramontes had tied the score for SCC (8-11-1) with 20 minutes remaining in regulation, on his second goal of the game.
The Master’s (10-9-1) will play at Fresno Pacific in the second round Saturday.
