B. Wayne Hughes, 58, has been elected chairman of Storage Equities Inc., succeeding Kenneth Q. Volk Jr., 72, who becomes chairman emeritus of the firm.
In addition, the Glendale-based firm announced that Harvey Lenkin was elected president as well as a director of the company. Lenkin, 55, has been a senior officer of Public Storage and affiliated companies since 1978.
Additionally, Ronald L. Havner Jr., 33, was elected chief financial officer. He has been an officer of PSI since 1986 and vice president and chief financial officer since October, 1991.
Storage Equities Inc. is an equity-oriented real estate investment trust.
