Mothballing B-1

Ardent B-2 supporter Sen. Sam Nunn (D-Ga.) suggested recently that the $30-billion B-1, a failed airplane with no viable mission, be mothballed. Nunn was one of those who led the charge to keep the ailing B-1 alive when even the Soviets knew it was terminal. Get real, Sam!
