El Monte Senior Picked as Scholar Finalist

El Monte High School senior Eli Hernandez has been named a finalist in the National Hispanic Scholar Awards Program. He was one of 3,000 students nationwide selected on the basis of results from the 1990 Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
