PORT HUENEME : Bank Robber Flees on Foot

An unidentified man robbed a Port Hueneme bank Friday and made his getaway on foot, police said.
The robber entered the Household Bank on Ventura Road in Port Hueneme about 2:30 p.m. Indicating that he had a gun, he demanded money from a teller, police said. No weapon was actually seen, however, and no one was injured. The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber is described as about 20 years old and 6 feet, 1 inch tall. He was wearing a green or black baggy jacket, black baggy pants, black tennis shoes with white socks and a pink knit cap with tan stripes.
