Police are seeing all kinds of helmets on the road that don’t cut it: baseball, football, bicycle and even aviator helmets. . . . “The rule is simple,” says CHP statewide spokesman Sam Haynes. “It has to be a helmet manufactured specifically for a motorcycle.”
