Applications are now available at local high school counseling offices for the California Interscholastic Federation/Reebok scholar-athlete of the year award.
Boys and girls who have demonstrated superior athletic skills, above-average academic standings and records of sound citizenship are encouraged to apply. High schools will be allowed to submit the names of only two applicants.
Judging will be completed May 11 and the awards will be presented June 6. The filing deadline is April 3.
