Duke Remains No. 1, but Bruins Drop to No. 4; Trojans Are No. 13

It will be No. 1 against No. 4 when Duke and UCLA meet Sunday at Pauley Pavilion.
The Blue Devils remained at the top of the Associated Press college basketball poll Monday despite losing to Wake Forest on Sunday. But the Bruins, who lost to Notre Dame on Saturday, dropped two places to No. 4.
USC, which will play UCLA at the Sports Arena Thursday night, is ranked No. 13.
Seventeen of the top 25 teams were beaten last week, and Indiana was the only one among the top 11 without at least one loss. The Hoosiers jumped from No. 7 to No. 2.
Indiana started the season ranked second to Duke, but a loss to UCLA in the Tipoff Classic dropped the Hoosiers to 10th.
UNLV, ineligible for postseason tournaments, matched Indiana’s gain of five places, moving to seventh.
