Man Surrenders to Police in Subway Shooting

NEW YORK — A man turned himself in to police Friday to face charges that he fatally shot his girlfriend and wounded a subway conductor who tried to shield the woman inside his booth, police said.
Thaddeus Davis, 28, of New York was charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the shooting, officials said.
