EL TORO : 2 Injured as Armed Robbers Loot Home

Two El Toro residents suffered minor injuries Wednesday while being robbed at gunpoint in their home, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The victims, a 21-year-old woman and her 19-year-old brother, told police that six young males forced themselves into their residence in the 24500 block of Raymond Way about 10:25 a.m. The intruders, two of whom were armed with handguns, tied the victims with electrical wire before stealing a television set, a microwave oven, a VCR, a leather jacket, miscellaneous jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the report.
The assailants escaped in a white 1980 to 1982 Toyota Camry and a white van with no side windows, the report indicated.
