California IN BRIEF : SAN DIEGO : Volunteers Sought for EPA Committee

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is accepting nominations of individuals to sit on an advisory committee to assist in implementing the U.S.-Mexico Border Environment Plan. People may nominate themselves or others. The EPA said it wants a committee balanced by representatives from the general public, business, border area community organizations, environmental groups and academia. Nominations should be submitted by March 25 to Sylvia Correa, OIA (A106), U.S. EPA, Washington, D.C. 20460. Advisory committee members’ expenses will be reimbursed.
