E. James Whittier has been appointed executive vice president of multiple employer trust operations for PM Group Life Insurance Co. in Fountain Valley, a subsidiary of Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co. He oversees marketing, sales and administration for the subsidiary. Whittier joined Pacific Mutual in 1954 and has headed multiple employer trust operations since 1982.
