LANCASTER : New AQMD Center Will Open Today

The South Coast Air Quality Management District today is scheduled to open a business assistance center in Lancaster, air district officials announced.
The new office, which will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, will spare business owners a trip to AQMD headquarters in Diamond Bar. An air district staff member will answer questions and help business operators file permit applications, variance requests, emissions reports and ride-sharing plans.
The assistance center is at 315 W. Pondera St., Suite C.
