Chris Antley rode Serape in a driving finish with Harbour Club on Sunday to win the Grade I Ballerina Stakes for older fillies and mares by three quarters of a length at Saratoga in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Harbour Club, ridden by Jerry Bailey, was second in the nine-horse field, a head ahead of Nannerl. Quick Mischief, unable to find running room until late in the stretch, finished a strong fourth.
The victory was the first in four starts for Serape, a 4-year-old daughter of Fappiano from the In Reality mare Mochila. She covered seven furlongs on a good track in 1:21:1 and paid $14.80, $7.20 and $3.20.
