Executive Assistance: Merger and acquisition work should be picking up in the 1990s, and veteran industry executive Arthur D. Perrone has formed a company designed to help the modern executive through the process.
Perrone, formerly vice chairman of Geneva Cos. in Irvine, has established Eureka Capital Markets Group in Newport Beach to give owners of small and medium-size businesses “cradle to grave” help.
What could give Eureka Capital an edge is its emphasis in psychological counseling. It has two industrial psychologists on staff to help business owners decide what they want to do with their lives. From there, the company helps to fashion a plan of action, from seeking financing to buying other companies or perhaps selling their own operations.
Among Perrone’s staff of seven professionals is Clyde H. Gossert, who was ousted early this year as president of CommerceBank in Newport Beach.
