HUNTINGTON BEACH : Library Trustee Applicants Sought
- Share via
City officials are seeking applicants to fill two positions on the Library Board of Trustees beginning Oct. 1.
The vacancies are the result of resignations of board members Ray Byerley and Pimmie Lopez.
Applications can be obtained by calling Pat Jones, City Council secretary, at (714) 536-5553.
The vacancies occur at a time of expansion for the library. When completed next fall, an $8.5-million children’s wing addition will increase floor space by 43,000 square feet at the Central Library.
More than 1.2 million items circulate annually from the Central Library and its three branches.
