Comarco Wins Contract Extension: Comarco Inc., an Anaheim engineering and management-services company, said Wednesday that it has won a $40-million contract extension to manage airport ground services at Washington National Airport for at least the next two years. The contract, which includes options for renewal for three additional years, is an extension of a current agreement that expires on Jan. 1. Comarco will collect parking fees and manage shuttle service. Don Bailey, chief executive of Anaheim-based Comarco, said in a statement that the award was critical to the company’s efforts to expand beyond its defense engineering base. Besides National Airport, Comarco holds contracts to manage shuttle service and parking-toll collection at Dulles International Airport near Washington. It also manages five small-aircraft airports in Los Angeles County.
