Poly 35, Eagle Rock 7--Senior running back Ronald Botley rushed 13 times for 194 yards and three touchdowns to carry the Parrots (2-0) over the visiting Eagles.
Botley scored on his first three carries on runs of 61, 56 and 33 yards as Poly built a 21-0 halftime lead.
Poly quarterback Anthony Muse added a one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, and Danny Martinez capped the Parrots’ scoring with an 11-yard run in the fourth quarter that was set up by linebacker Boomer Jackson’s interception.
