GOVERNOR’S CALL: Gov. Pete Wilson wants people to know he cares about working women. He announced plans Thursday for a “Call to Action” women’s conference on Nov. 19 in Anaheim. His reason: “To reinforce a women’s business and career network in California.” . . . It will be a day of workshops and seminars. Speakers include state commerce director Julie Meier Wright, Dr. Nancy Snyderman of “Good Morning America,” and author Iris Dart. Also speaking, of course, will be Pete Wilson.
