There is a striking disparity between the two teams in World Series experience.
Only four Blue Jays, including one pitcher, have experience--Morris, Winfield, Maldonado and Griffin.
Nineteen Braves have World Series experience, including four who played in a Series before last year’s. They are Lonnie Smith, Terry Pendleton, Leibrandt and Jeff Reardon.
The Brave pitching staff has 24 games of World Series experience, and the Blue Jay staff has six games.
