HUNTINGTON BEACH : Mock Space Station to Open to Visitors

The Ocean View Education Foundation will sponsor a visit to the Nov. 21 opening of the McDonnell Douglas Space Station mock-up at the company’s conference facility.
The program will introduce the education foundation’s honorary chairman, Larry Morata. He is vice president and general manager of the McDonnell Douglas Space Station Division.
The foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises money to promote and support educational programs of the Ocean View School District.
Morata is the recipient of the 1990 Hispanic Engineer of the Year award.
Pupils, parents and residents are invited to the event. It will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at 5301 Oceanus Drive.
