A Guilty Rose: Rock star Axl Rose was found guilty Tuesday of property damage and assault during an aborted Guns N’ Roses concert last year outside of St. Louis, Mo., that escalated into a riot. Rose, who was not required to be present, was given two years’ probation and ordered to pay $50,000 in donations to five local social service organizations. The probation was amended to allow Rose to travel in connection with his work. Rose’s attorney said afterward that the heavy-metal musician is sorry and “feels badly about his image in St. Louis.”
