ENVY WEATHER: If you were not happy with the unusually cool temperatures that came to Orange County with Wednesday’s Santa Ana winds--courtesy of cold Nevada air sweeping in--the weather people have some encouraging news. The winds are expected to die down today, and temperatures for the weekend will be in the pleasant low 80s with lots of sunshine. . . . Says meteorologist Rick Dittmann of WeatherData Inc.: “It will be the kind of weekend in Orange County that will make people east of the Rockies start thinking about a Disneyland vacation.” (A30, B8)
