American Film Technologies Inc. has named Arthur P. Hartel president and chief executive and Robert L. Glaser chairman, replacing Joseph M. Taritero, who left to pursue other business interests.
Hartel, 59, has been secretary and general counsel of the Los Angeles firm since its formation in 1985. He was named senior executive vice president in January, 1988, and served as chief operating officer from September, 1988, through September, 1989.
Glaser, 63, has been a director of the company since March, 1987, and was president of AFTI from September, 1988, to December, 1991. He became vice chairman of AFTI’s board in December, 1991.
