One Man Killed, One Hurt in Shooting

One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Tuesday in the 4000 block of Winona Avenue, San Diego police said. Investigators said the unidentified victims were believed to have been shot at 3 p.m., but the motive and gunman or gunmen remained unknown.
One man was shot in the abdomen and taken to Mercy Hospital, where he died.
The second victim was found about five blocks away, in the 4200 block of 51st, with a gunshot wound in his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
