Cezanne Sales: Paul Cezanne was the artist of the hour Monday night at Christie’s London auction house. Six of seven paintings from the collection of French industrialist and Cezanne collector extraordinaire Auguste Pellerin (1852-1926) brought a total of $15.9 million at a public sale, where the total of all works sold reached $28.3 million. The seventh Cezanne work was sold for about $2.9 million immediately after the auction.
