Bravo to Robert M. Bass for his column “Old Cities; Pearls Worth Polishing” (Commentary, Dec. 28). It is the first sensible and realistic article on housing and urban development I’ve seen or read in decades!
Developers, planners, and politicians should take note and seek to coalesce. But don’t hold your breath!
