Seymour’s New Post
With all the intelligent people who are unemployed, it certainly seems that the governor could have made just as good choices from that group as he did with Seymour for the “affordable housing” post and former state Sen. Ed Davis for the Alcoholic Beverage Control Appeal Board.
I’m sure Davis is already drawing a hefty pension from the taxpayers. Does Davis really need another $25,500 a year?
Seymour is right in expecting criticism. There are lots of unemployed real estate agents who could handle that job for a lot less than $98,076 a year. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to hear both say, “Governor, please appoint someone from the ranks of the unemployed to these jobs.”
