Maybe it is because my father is French and the C. in my name stands for Catherine, so I have a natural bias. But Deneuve was revealed to be as stunning in her attitudes toward life and film as she is on screen.
Whether European or American, or that grand scope of all of us, true film lovers hunger for more like her--those who respect both story and character and wisely invest their talents through them.
