WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : UCLA Extends Win Streak to 7

UCLA defeated Oregon, 79-75, in a Pacific 10 Conference women’s basketball game at Pauley Pavilion on Wednesday, increasing its winning streak to seven.

The Bruins are 8-4 overall, 3-0 in Pac-10. Oregon is 6-6, 0-3.

Natalie Williams, a junior forward, led UCLA with 27 points and 21 rebounds.

Hawaii 91, Cal State Long Beach 90--Chenise Butler scored a career-high 28 points for the 49ers in a Big West Conference loss at home. Long Beach is 3-9 overall, 2-3 in conference.
