PORTER RANCH : Worker at Pizza Parlor Fatally Shot

A robber shot and killed an employee of a pizza parlor in Porter Ranch on Thursday, Los Angeles police reported.
The employee, whose name was not released because his family had not been notified, was working at the counter of the Ameci In & Out Pizza & Pasta restaurant at 11229 Tampa Ave. when he was confronted by an armed robber about 6:10 p.m., Detective Tom Broad said. The gunman fired at least one shot. The employee was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he later died.
Broad said no arrests had been made in connection with the killing.
