Visiting Nurse Service Receives Accreditation

LONG BEACH — The Visiting Nurse Service of Long Beach was accredited with commendation by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations on Jan. 5. This is the highest level of accreditation awarded by the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest accrediting body.
The Visiting Service of Long Beach has served the area for 77 years. The agency provides home health care, hospice, therapy and personal care services.
