Lineman Wilson to Attend Northridge

Oscar Wilson, a defensive lineman at Rancho Santiago, will attend Cal State Northridge on a football scholarship, Northridge Coach Bob Burt said Tuesday.
Wilson was an All-Mission Conference pick for Rancho Santiago last fall, when he was in on 53 tackles, including two sacks.
He was The Times Orange County lineman of the year in 1988 and ’89 at Santa Ana High School, arriving at Rancho Santiago in 1990. Wilson was an all-conference pick his freshman season, too, when he was in on 82 tackles, including eight sacks.
Wilson sat out the 1991 season because he was academically ineligible.
