Bomb Blasts in Bogota Wound at Least 17

BOGOTA, Colombia — President Cesar Gaviria warned Friday that his government will not be intimidated by drug traffickers whose “packs of hounds” set off three powerful car bombs hours earlier.
Two bombs exploded late Thursday--one in the capital, Bogota, and one in Medellin, the center of a drug cartel. A third went off early Friday in Bogota.
No one was killed, but at least 17 people were wounded in Bogota.
The explosions came three days after fugitive drug lord Pablo Escobar threatened to renew his terrorism campaign.
