Palmdale High’s Terrence Zenno and Al Corney, best friends since the seventh grade, have committed to play football at Colorado State.
Zenno, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound option quarterback, gave oral commitment on Friday, passing on offers from Oregon and Purdue. Zenno, the Golden League’s player of the year, passed for 2,067 yards and 15 touchdowns and was his team’s leading rusher (631 yards).
Corney, who committed a day before Zenno, will play wide receiver for Colorado State. Corney (6-2, 190) was named to the All-Golden League team as a wide receiver and defensive back.
