Bryan Murray, Detroit Red Wing coach, was suspended 10 games for allowing players to leave the penalty box to join a fight. The suspension is usually five games, but Murray’s was doubled because he also violated the rule last season. The NHL might change the rule because coaches can’t restrain players from across the ice.
