Yamasaki Sets County Record for 3-Pointers

ANAHEIM — Cindy Yamasaki scored 15 points, making four three-point baskets to break the county career record and giving Los Alamitos a 54-40 Empire League victory over Esperanza Tuesday.
Yamasaki, with 150 three-pointers, moved past Edison’s Joan Paje, who has 147.
Heather Dowhan scored 13 points for Esperanza (9-11, 1-6). Los Alamitos is 11-9 and 5-2.
