Haysbert to Star in PBS’ ‘Hallelujah’

Dennis Haysbert, who is starring in the current film “Love Field,” will play the minister of a black church who is asked to deliver a miracle to his congregation in “Hallelujah,” a drama for PBS.
The production will air in December as part of PBS’ “American Playhouse” series. Also starring in the production are James Earl Jones, Phylicia Rashad and Tracy Douglas.
